Guide & Insights

Give your intuition a minute

Once you start, the page stops offering time cues. Stop when the duration feels complete, then compare your internal clock with the actual time.

Hide the clock

No changing numbers, progress bars, beats, or time-up alerts. Try counting silently, or go entirely by feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1Does the timer stop automatically?▼
No. The target time triggers no sound or notification. Press the stop button yourself to reveal how long you actually waited.
Q2Why does switching tabs cancel a round?▼
Hiding the page ends the current round so an interruption does not become part of the score. Completed results remain saved, and you can start again.
Q3How is closeness calculated?▼
Divide the absolute error by the target duration, then subtract that percentage from 100%, with a minimum of 0%. A 57-second attempt at a 60-second target has a 3-second error and 95% closeness. The score simply visualizes the timing error.
Q4Are results uploaded?▼
This tool stores rounds locally in this browser and does not upload them. You can still play if local storage is blocked, but results may not persist. Sharing requires copying the result yourself; the link includes only the target duration.
