Tools that process data locally

Most calculators, code converters, and image tools process your inputs or files in your browser. These tools do not upload their input content to our servers as part of their calculations or conversions. Some tools save preferences or records on your device. Local processing does not mean that visiting the website makes no network requests.

Cross-device text transfer

When you send text, the text, optional password, transfer code, expiry time, and access limit are sent to our server over HTTPS. The server encrypts the text before storing it in Cloudflare KV and decrypts it when a recipient retrieves it. This is server-side encryption, not end-to-end encryption.

Records are scheduled to expire at the time you choose and are deleted when the access limit is reached. Without a password, anyone with the transfer code can retrieve the text. With a password, both the code and password are required. Keep these private and avoid transferring highly sensitive information.

Optional subscription cloud sync

Subscription records are stored in your browser by default. Saving to the cloud uploads your subscription list, including names, prices, dates, and notes you entered, under a six-character sync code. Cloud records are scheduled to expire 365 days after the most recent save.

The sync code is an access key: anyone who has it can read or replace the associated cloud records. These records are not end-to-end encrypted by the app. A remembered code is checked when you reopen the tool; saving and loading use its sync controls. Disconnecting clears the code on your device and does not delete the cloud copy.

Cookies and storage on your device

PriceCalc uses a language-preference cookie and browser storage for features such as theme preferences, subscription records, and remembered sync codes. Stored data may remain on your device after you close a page. You can remove it through your browser settings; this may reset preferences or delete locally saved records.

Hosting, advertising, and external services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Requests to the site provide hosting services with network information such as your IP address and browser information for delivering and protecting the service. Google AdSense serves advertising; Google may receive the page URL and IP address and may use cookies or similar identifiers for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Some tools request resources such as current exchange rates or processing libraries. Local tool processing therefore does not mean that the page has no external connections. Following donation or other external links takes you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can use local tools without enabling subscription cloud saves or sending text. Keep transfer and sync codes private. Clearing browser data does not delete server records. You can manage cookies in your browser and review Google advertising settings; turning off ad personalization does not stop all advertising-related data processing.

For privacy questions or requests concerning cloud records, contact admin@pricecalc.net. Emailing us shares your email address and the information in your message so we can respond. Do not include passwords or full sensitive content. Disconnecting a tool or clearing your browser does not itself request deletion of server data.
